Many tenants of Galeria Jurajska have already begun finishing works in their stores. The facility received also official address, assigned by virtue of a decision of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Częstochowa City Council.
The process of transferring premises to subsequent tenants, who will arrange them according to individual needs, takes place in Galeria Jurajska. Among others, Peek & Cloppenburg, Mega Avans, Zara, Reserved, as well as Kapp Ahl are finishing their stores. Moreover, arrangement works are in progress in the multi-hall cinema – Cinema City.
In the vicinity of Galeria Jurajska construction of surrounding road infrastructure is continued – Kanał Kohna Street (formerly bearing working name of Krakowska Street bis), connector between it and national road no. 1, as well as two bridges on Warta are being erected.
This year in May Galeria Jurajska received also official address, assigned by virtue of decision of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography of the Częstochowa City Council. Galeria Jurajska is located at 207 Wojska Polskiego Avenue – running through the whole Częstochowa section of national road no. 1. In the present shape, Wojska Polskiego Avenue is the longest, having more than 15 km, street in Czestochowa. More than 60 000 vehicles pass through it every day. It is also a part of international transport route E75 Helsinki – Gdańsk – Łódź – Katowice – Budapest – Athens.
First clients will visit Galeria Jurajska in Czestochowa in early October this year.
Galeria Jurajska is the third investment conducted by Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) in the sector of shopping and entertainment centres in Poland and the first modern facility of this type in Częstochowa. Implementation of the investment began in February 2008.
Galeria Jurajska is located on the plot with total area of 8.5 ha, situated in the immediate vicinity of national road no. 1, connecting North and South of Poland.
Total area of Galeria Jurajska is 130 000 sq m, of which 49 000 sq m are commercial and entertainment space, which will house 200 stores, service and gastronomic points, as well as a multi-hall cinema – Cinema City.
The offer of Galeria Jurajska will include stores of the most popular Polish and international brands. For many of them it will be a debut on the local commercial market. Among others, Alma (3400 sq m), Peek&Cloppenburg (3000 sq m), LPP group – Reserved, Cropp, Home & You, Esotiq, House, Mohito (2900 sq m), Mega Avans (2800 sq m), Inditex group – Zara, Bershka and Stradivarius (2600 sq m), Euro RTV AGD (1300 sq m), Intersport (1200 sq m), KappAhl (750 sq m), Rossmann (360 sq m), Kakadu (360 sq m), Sephora (345 sq m), Douglas (310 sq m), Promod (200 sq m), Max Mara (120 sq m), Trussardi (120 sq m) or Apart (120 sq m) will open their stores in Galeria Jurajska.
On the first floor of Galeria Jurajska there will be lacated a food court. To provide comfort of customers, also a car park for nearly 1900 vehicles will be created.
The opening of Galeria Jurajska will take place in October 2009.
Along with opening in September 2000 of Galeria Mokotów Globe Trade Centre S.A. introduced to Poland a model of modern shopping and entertainment centre. Three years later Galeria Kazimierz in Cracow was opened to public. Every year both galleries are visited together by 17 million customers.
