• Peek and Cloppenburg will open its first store in the region in Galeria Jurajska
• Six months before opening Galeria Jurajska is leased 90%

Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) and Peek and Cloppenburg (P&C) concluded the lease agreement for the retail space in Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa. A two-level store with renowned, high fashion brands will occupy 3,000 sqm.

Peek and Cloppenburg has joined the tenant list of Galeria Jurajska, upgrading the fashion tenant mix of GTC’s mall in Częstochowa. Shoppers will find a wide range of exclusive fashion brands in a two-level store with 3,000sqm of retail space.

It will be the first P&C store in the region, while Częstochowa will be the sixth Polish city hosting this firm.

“Peek & Cloppenburg is one of the longest-established international fashion retailers, founded more than 100 years ago. They select location of their stores very carefully. The fact of choosing Galeria Jurajska for P&C expansion in Poland confirms the prestige and the dominant position of the mall in the region” – says Anna Wysocka, National Retail Director at Jones Lang LaSalle, the exclusive leasing agent for Galeria Jurajska.

Galeria Jurajska offers 49,000 sqm of modern shopping and entertainment space and comprises approx. 200 stores, services outlets, restaurants, and cafes, as well as Cinema City multiplex. Shoppers will have access to a five-storey parking facility which will accommodate around 1,800 cars.

Nearly 90 per cent of the commercial space in Galeria Jurajska has been pre-leased. Main tenants of the mall include Alma (3,400 sqm), the LPP clothing group (2,900 sqm), Mega Avans (2,800 sqm), Euro RTV AGD (1,300 sqm), Intersport (1,200 sqm), KappAhl (750 sqm), Kakadu (360 sqm), Rossmann (360 sqm), Sephora (345 sqm), Douglas (310 sqm) among the others.

The opening of Galeria Jurajska is scheduled for October 2009.

Galeria Jurajska will be the third modern shopping centre developed by GTC in Poland, after Galeria Mokotów in Warsaw and Galeria Kazimierz in Kraków.
