Among the winners were two projects carried out by Lighthouse Group, an affiliate of Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC).
Galeria Harfa, honoured as “Best Shopping Center Development 2010,” is the largest project of this type in Prague as well as the only shopping mall delivered for occupancy in Prague this year. The facility offers 42,000 sq m of net retail space, on three levels, and is over 90% let.
Visitors to Galeria Harfa have over 180 shops at their disposal, offering famous Czech and international brands, service points, cafés, restaurants, a luxury fitness club and a swimming pool. The mall also offers an impressive 9,500 sq m roof garden.
The winner in the category “Best Residential Development 2010” was Zelené M?sto (“Green City”), which has been developed in Prague by Lighthouse Group since 2007. The first completed phase of the project offers 400 2- to 4-room apartments with a total area of 46,000 sq m. Ultimately the development will include 28 low-rise apartment buildings as well as two 11-storey residential towers.
Zelené M?sto is located in the Prague district of Jarov, next to Třešňovka hill and the surrounding green areas. The available apartments offer highly functional and practical space, with attractive finishing of the interiors and the common areas.
This was the 10th year in which the CEE Construction & Investment awards have been given on the Czech market.
Zelené M?sto was also honoured in the “Best of Realty” (Nejlepší z realit) competition, which has been held since 1999 to recognise achievements by architects, developers, contractors and real estate consulting firms in the Czech Republic.
