GTC Romania – a 100% subsidiary of Globe Trade Centre S.A. (GTC) has been declared Developer of the Year among companies operating on the Romanian real estate market. Since 2002 the Construction & Investment Journal prizes have been awarded to the leaders of the real estate market and to their projects.
One of GTC Romania’s Project finalized in 2009 is the City Gate office complex in Bucharest. The Project has a total rental space of 43000 square metres and is located in the most prestigious business district of the city. Esteemed local and international companies can be found among the tenants of City Gate, some examples being: Romtelecom, Microsoft, Millennium Bank, Autoitalia and Hoffman LaRoche.
GTC Romania has also constructed three shopping malls in cities with a population of over 75000 citizens – Buzau, Piatra Neamt and Suceava.
Two additional residential projects are being executed by GTC in Bucharest – Rose Garden and Felicity.
The jury for the prestigious Construction & Investment Journal awards comprises of CEOs of leading companies from the real estate sector, finance institutions and legal firms from the region. In 2009 GTC Romania has been honoured for the scale of its investments as well as their high quality and modern approach.
GTC has won a Construction & Investments Journal award twice this year. In November, the magazine has recognized Galeria Jurajska in Częstochowa as the “Best Shopping Centre finalized in 2009″.
