On 31 March 2011 Globe Trade Centre S.A. (“GTC”) obtained a valid building permit for the 5th building at Platinium Business Park in Warsaw. GTC plans to complete construction of Platinium Business Park V in the second quarter of 2012. The new development is already over 50% let.
Platinium Business Park is a Class A office complex at the intersection of Domaniewska and Wołoska streets in Warsaw. GTC is currently constructing the fourth building at the complex.
Construction of the 11-storey Platinium Business Park V, with a lease area of 11,000 sq m will begin in April of this year. The area of a typical floor is 1,024 sq m, and each floor can be efficiently arranged into separate offices or open space.
“For several years Platinium Business Park has gained recognition from tenants and industry experts,” said GTC General Manager Piotr Kroenke. “The three existing buildings, as well as the fourth one under construction, have all been let nearly 100%, which for us is the best proof of its success. I am pleased that our projects continue to attract prominent Polish and international companies. Successful leasing of the fifth building gives us confidence to start, after obtaining building permit, construction of the sixth and last building of the complex.”
Among the tenants for Platinium Business Park V who have already signed agreements with GTC is K2 Internet, one of the leading e-marketing agencies in Poland, providing interactive and new media marketing. K2 Internet’s offices at Platinium Business Park will take up over 2,000 sq m of rental space.

In addition to K2 Internet, Starcom will be another main tenant in Platinium Business Park V, leasing approx 2,600 sq m.
With other tenants like Saatchi & Saatchi, Communication Unlimited, Artegence, Leo Burnett, Starlink and Zenith Optimedia, Platinium Business Park has become the prestigious destination for media and advertising companies.
Platinium Business Park V will be constructed from materials that increase energy efficiency and enable maximum efficiency of heating and air conditioning systems. The building will be equipped with tilt windows, suspended floors and ceilings, an integrated lighting system, air conditioning with individual temperature controls, full cabling and a state-of-the-art building management system. Tenants will also have 180 parking spaces at their disposal.
The design for Platinium Business Park V, prepared by the Grupa 5 Architekci studio, was developed to achieve efficient use of office space, providing tenants with noticeable savings on utilities cost, combined with pleasant and friendly working environment.
GTC targets to obtain LEED Gold certification for Platinium Business Park V in the new-build category. LEED certification is awarded only to projects meeting the highest standards set by the US Green Building Council.
The general contractor for the development will be Warbud.
Financing for the investment is being provided by Berlin LandesBank.
In addition to development of Platinium Business Park, in Warsaw GTC is currently also constructing the third building in the Okęcie Business Park complex at ul. 17 Stycznia. The Corius building, with a lease space of over 9,100 sq m, will be delivered for occupancy by the end of 2011.
