GTC and DFDS Poland have signed lease agreement for 1,600 sq m of office space located in the Globis Poznań building. The agreement with one of the biggest spedition and logistics companies in Europe has been signed for next 5 years.

DFDS specializes in sea and land transport. The company was established in 1866 in Denmark, and currently operates a network of several dozen routes in the North Sea and the Baltic Sea, as well as a chain providing road and rail transport services in majority of European countries. DFDS will open its financial operations centre in Poznań which is also to be the first establishment of the company in Poland with around 150 employees.

Poznań with its location, transport infrastructure and well educated human resources, is highly attractive place for companies. On the other side, GTC’s experience in developing office space for BPO centres, allowed us to provide DFDS with optimal work conditions, – says Jacek Wachowicz, Member of the Board and Director of Leasing and Sales at GTC S.A. The new tenant will move into the Globis Poznań building in autumn this year. Colliers International participated in the deal as a leasing agent. Globis Poznań is currently 95% let.

Globis office building is located in Poznań city center, in close vicinity of “Mercure” hotel, main railway station and the Poznań International Fair terrain. The building offers 13,947 sq m of modern office space. The list of companies that have their offices there, includes, among others, Arvato Poland, Comarch, BZ WBK, KPMG, GPD Advertising, Luxmed, PKO S.A., PTK Centertel and UWI Inwestycje.
