- Strong office leasing activity in Poland
- Over 53,500 sq. m leased
- 54 deals signed
2016 was a year of great achievements for GTC. The Group worked hard on growing its portfolio of income-producing assets and further improving occupancy rates. Last year alone, GTC leased over 53,500 sq. m of high-quality office space in its own or managed properties in Poland.
The year commenced with the appointment of Justina Ivan, as Office Leasing Director and concentrated efforts aimed at optimizing the operational structure. As a result, the Polish leasing team closed a staggering number of 54 deals. The largest transactions included IBM’s extension of a long term lease for over 12,000 sq. m at the Korona Office Complex Kraków and Ericsson’s lease of ca. 8.500 sq. m at UBP Lodz.
“We are proud of the leasing results delivered throughout the properties of our Polish portfolio. It was a record year in which KPI’s were outperformed and the overall occupancy rate of our 20 office buildings reached an average of 91%. I believe that a strong client oriented approach, along with the expansion of our leasing and property management departments, by employing some of the best professionals available on the market, were amongst the key factors of our success. We have a wonderfully dedicated team, and wish to thank our tenants for their trust in us,” commented Justina Ivan, GTC Office Leasing Director.
The long list of GTC Poland’s prominent tenants includes Accenture, Fujitsu Technology Solutions, IBM, KPMG, UPS, DHL, Pandora, HP, GFT, Medicover, DFDS, mBank, Deloitte, Rockwell Automation, A. Schulman, Arla, Genpact, Luxmed, Unit 4, and many others.
