GTC Serbia was recognized in 4 categories during annual CIJ Awards Serbia & SEE 2018 Gala. The developer was awarded with a title of Best Overall Commercial Developer, and won prizes for Best Future Development, Best Retail Lease, and Best Office Deal of the year.
The third CIJ Awards Serbia & SEE took place on 4th December at the Hyatt hotel in Belgrade and GTC was one of the biggest winners of the night. Developer and asset manager won Best Future Development for its scheme Green Heart that comprises of 5 office buildings complex with 46 000 sq. m of GLA and is scheduled for completion in Q4 2019. GTC was also awarded Best Office Deal of the year for the agreement with Nordeus, a mobile game developer, who will move in to the Green Heart project in March 2019, occupying 6 000 sq. m of the modern A-class office space The very modern and easily adjustable design concept of Green Heart was able to accommodate Nordeus’ specific interior design preferences. The contract was successfully signed for 6 years.
On the retail front, GTC was awarded Best Retail Lease for bringing Forever 21 to Ada Mall. Forever 21, an international fashion retailer based in Los Angeles, chose Ada Mall for their first store in Serbia and leased over 1 300 sq. m for 10 years. Ada Mall is a perfectly designed modern retail scheme that will be completed in spring 2019 in Belgrad. It will offer over 34 000 sq m of retail and leisure space in the middle of residential area and just few steps from beaches of Ada Lake.
These three nominations were indisputably the reason why GTC Serbia was honoured with the title of Best Overall Commercial Developer in SEE.
